Won the “MCF Awards Technology Honorable Mention”
On November 25 and 26, we exhibited at “Medical Creation Fukushima 2016”, which was held at Big Palette Fukushima.
We received the “Technology Honorable Mention” prize at the MCF Awards, which selected exhibiting companies for awards.
We will continue honing our technology to develop products to help the world going forward.
Exhibited at “COMPAMED2016”
Exhibited at MEDICA / COMPAMED 2016, the world’s largest medical care exhibition which was held in Dusseldorf,
Germany from November 14 to 17 as a member of Team Fukushima. This was our first overseas exhibition,
and it helped us understand the needs of the global market and find new ways to improve our products.
We will continue transmitting information to the world in the future.
Execution of “Pact on Cooperation in the Provision Supplies at Times of Disasters, Etc.” with Koriyama City
Our company has executed a pact with Koriyama City to cooperate in the provision of cardboard products as relief supplies during times of disasters. Execution of this pact relating to cooperation in said provision with the local government is the second of its kind, after our previous pact with Sukagawa City. We will continue advancing activities which contribute to the regional society going forward.
We entered into “agreement regarding assistance of providing relief supplies, etc. to shelters during disasters” with the city of Sukagawa.
Our firm has concluded an agreement with the city of Sukagawa to assist in the provision of cardboard box products, including “panel assembly ER” as relief supplies for shelters, etc. during disasters. Our goal is to keep up with our activities of contributing to our local community.
An ER made from our Honeyrial cardboard was used during medical training in preparation for large-scale earthquakes
An ER made from our Honeyrial cardboard (honeycomb cardboard) was used by Disaster Medical Assistance Teams during medical training conducted on August 6th to prepare for large-scale earthquakes.
We installed an assembly-type ER as aid after the Kumamoto earthquake.
On June 24th, we installed an assembly-type ER made from Honeyrial cardboard (honeycomb cardboard) panels at the Uki City martial arts stadium, which serves as an evacuation center in Uki City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
The facility was installed as a location for the treatment of infections to prevent infections from spreading to other evacuees in the event that an infection occurred during the prolonged evacuation. It was also scheduled to be used by evacuees as a changing room or as a nursing room for mothers when not in use as a medical facility. Now, three months after the earthquake, the evacuees are pleased that they no longer have to change clothes in the bathroom thanks to this facility.
We have received comments from evacuees that have actually used the facility, and we are endeavoring to develop it into an even better product. We plan to continue these types of efforts in the future.
Joint usage of an “Infection Unit” (currently under development) has begun with the Fukushima Medical University
We have been involved in the development of an “Infection Unit,” assembled from panels, as a development assistance project for medical and healthcare devices in Fukushima, and the unit is now in joint usage with the Fukushima Medical University. We will continue developing products useful to the world.
