KANDA PACKAGE Co., Ltd. began as a lumber merchant in 1897 located at the time at 3-11 Higashi, Sukagawamachi. Our business gradually changed from being a lumber merchant into lumber manufacturing, box manufacturing and the building industry. Currently, we are contributing to local communities as a manufacturer of cardboard boxes. Under our business creeds of “Trust and Quality” and “Practice Makes Perfect,” we strive to continue and expand our business with the idea of obtaining customer trust and achieving perfection in all things through continued effort.

History

February 1897: Commenced operations as a lumber merchant at 3-11 Higashi, Sukagawamachi. Factory established at 362 Minamimachi.
April 1910: Began delivery of wooden boxes simultaneously with the start of tobacco production at the Monopoly Bureau Sukagawa branch factory. Operations continue to this day.
June 1960: Established a cardboard factory at 38 Tatetori, Nishikawa, Sukagawa City
April 1961: Reorganized as a corporation called Kanda Package Co., Ltd.
December 1975: Became a JIS mark certified factory
July 1983: Rebuilt the office and product warehouse
August 1985: Relocated to 22 Tatetorimachi, Sukagawa City
September 1985: Additional installation
November 1985: New factory completed
May 1991: Additional installation
May 1995: Additional installation
February 1996: FP Planning Co., Ltd. establishes as a subsidiary at Yokoyama Industrial Park
March 1997: Additional installation
May 1998: Additional installation
May 2000: Additional installation
June 2006: Obtained ISO14001 certification
May 2011: Honeyrial division established
October 2013: Yokoyama Factory No. 3 completed
November 2014: Headquarters light fixtures completely changed to LED
